Event 2

On June 15, EducPro was present in the 2nd meeting of the project Progress EU that took place in Novo Mesto, Slovenia and had as theme the "Youth Role and Status in Europe” in the Gallery - Museum of Novo Mesto.

The conference that took place in the morning had the following moments:

○ Welcome by DRPDNM and the Municipality of Novo Mesto

○ EU and Youth - Speaker dr. Klemen Grošelj, Renew Europe, Slovenian member of the European Parliament

○ Solidarity in practice. Working with potentially vulnerable groups. The case of persons with international protection in Slovenia - Speaker dr. Jure Gombač, ZRC SAZU

○ Non formal Education in the digital age - Speaker Alma Elizabeta Špelko, DRPDNM

○ Opportunities for Young people in the EU - Speaker Franja Bučar, DRPDNM

○ Good practices for integration and active participation - Speaker dr. Lejla
Imamović Lerić, Democratic Republic of the Congo

In the afternoon we had a moment of reflection between all partners where through the dynamics of non-formal education we tried to understand whether we agree or disagree on different issues connected with the role of youth and the situation in Europe.

As part of the Agenda we have also attended some artistic moments, part of the week of culture where we discovered the cultural richness of Slovenia.
