As part of the PROGRESS_EU project, funded by the CERV-2022-CITIZENS-TOWN NETWORKS OF TOWNS program, the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy hosted the 6th international event in the Netherlands from June 10th to June 12th, 2024.

This event focused on youth involvement in local and European representations and the development of protocols for promoting new European opportunities led by youth. The day began with engaging open dialogues on how young people can participate in local and European governance, followed by a debate addressing the shift from Euroscepticism to Europeanism, with a focus on the upcoming European elections and reflecting on young participants' beliefs.

After lunch, an interactive round table took place, aimed at developing protocols for promoting new European opportunities led by youth. To conclude the meeting, participants contributed to a canvas, writing down the words that came to mind when thinking of PROGRESS_EU. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy for their exceptional hospitality and the dedicated efforts of its members in making this event possible.
