Event 7
On September 12th, EducPro in Braga, Portugal, hosted the 8th event of the CERV project Progress EU, titled "From Local to Global". It was an inspiring day filled with meaningful discussions and activities centered on the power of local actions and their impact at the European level.
The day started with a welcome speech from the president of EducPro, setting the stage for dynamic exchanges. This was followed by a panel discussion featuring the president of FAJUB - Federação das Associações Juvenis do Distrito de Braga and a board member of ESN Minho (Erasmus Student Network). The topic? How we can take our local actions and make an impact across Europe.
Participants then dove into a hands-on workshop, “Me, My Country & EU,” where they reflected on their personal role within both local and EU communities. Country presentations highlighted how local initiatives can create a ripple effect across the European stage, showcasing real-life examples from around the region.
The day wrapped up with a cultural activity – "From Braga to EU" – celebrating Braga’s rich culture and its ties to the wider European community.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated in this insightful event, and a special thanks to EducPro for hosting! Together, we continue to make progress from local to global.
