EducPro attended the closing event of the SOLIDARITOWN project, held from 9–12 September 2025 in Leuven & Brussels (Belgium). Over four intense days, the programme combined cultural exploration, educational activities and meaningful dialogue on European solidarity in challenging times — and on collective paths for the future.
The delegation visited the Museum of European History, took a guided tour of the European Parliament and toured the European Quarter in Brussels. In Leuven, we were officially welcomed by Mayor Mohamed Ridouani at the Botanical Gardens (De Kruidtuin), in a moment of recognition of the work of the partner organisations and the young people involved.
At Campus Corso, the international conference (in person and online) presented the project results by the participating countries and promoted the debate ‘Solidarity in Times of Peace’, reflecting on the role of European solidarity in the context of the war in Ukraine. The programme also included an exhibition on ‘Leuven's Climate City Contract’ by Thomas Van Oppens (Vice-Mayor for Climate, Finance and Digitalisation), an interactive Radio Lab with all participants and a cultural tour of Leuven.
