Transnational Partners Meeting 2
On 3 June 2026, the partners of the ESCAP(E+) project – Educate Youth in Security through Cyber Awareness Program and Engagement – gathered in Târgu-Jiu, Romania, for the second Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by Scout Society.
The meeting brought together representatives from the partner organisations to review the progress achieved so far and coordinate the next stages of the project. Partners discussed the development of the project’s educational resources, evaluated the outcomes of the recent Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) held in Braga, Portugal, and planned the upcoming implementation activities.
One of the key topics of discussion was the improvement and refinement of the VR escape room scripts developed by participants during the international training. Partners reviewed the scenarios created by youth workers, provided feedback on their educational value and technical feasibility, and agreed on adjustments to strengthen both the learning outcomes and the immersive experience. The escape rooms address important cybersecurity challenges faced by young people, including AI identity theft, healthcare data breaches, deepfake misinformation, phishing, and online scams.
The consortium also reviewed communication and dissemination activities, quality assurance measures, and the timeline for the development of the project’s final outputs. Particular attention was given to ensuring that the VR escape rooms remain engaging, educational, and accessible to young people across Europe.
Hosted in the city of Târgu Jiu, the meeting provided an excellent opportunity for partners to exchange ideas, strengthen cooperation, and ensure the successful implementation of the project. The discussions reaffirmed the consortium’s shared commitment to promoting cybersecurity awareness, digital resilience, and safe online behaviour through innovative non-formal education methods.
The ESCAP(E+) project continues to empower youth workers and young people with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the digital world safely while fostering critical thinking, responsible online engagement, and cybersecurity competence.
