EducPro Participates in the First International Meeting of the ZA4NED Project in Tibi, Spain

EducPro took part on 14–15 April 2026 in Tibi, Spain, in the first international event of the European project ZA4NED – Generation Z & Alpha in the Driver’s Seat for Youth Participation and European Democracy, hosted by the Municipality of Tibi.

Funded under the CERV Programme, the project aims to modernise democratic participation by adapting governance structures to the evolving engagement habits of younger generations. ZA4NED seeks to strengthen the connection between young citizens and political institutions by promoting innovative, youth-friendly participation models and equipping municipalities with practical strategies for inclusive governance.

During the meeting, project partners discussed innovative approaches to enhancing the democratic engagement of Generation Z and Alpha, through workshops, planning sessions, and exchanges with local young people. Key topics addressed included the future of democracy, alternative forms of political participation, and the role of institutions in fostering youth civic engagement.

The project consortium brings together organisations and municipalities from Spain, Croatia, Serbia, Hungary, Italy, Estonia, Slovenia, and Portugal, fostering strong European cooperation in developing more participatory and youth-oriented democratic policies.

EducPro’s participation in this meeting reinforces the organisation’s commitment to promoting active citizenship, social inclusion, and youth empowerment at European level.
