EducPro Organises Local Workshop on Green Transition and Migration in Póvoa de Lanhoso

On 21 April 2026, EducPro, in collaboration with the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso, organised a local workshop titled “Green Transition and Migration” within the framework of the European project Act Green: Active Cities – Green Cities.

The workshop brought together 40 students, creating a space for learning, discussion, and exchange around the connections between environmental sustainability and migration. The event opened with a welcome speech from an EducPro representative, followed by an energizer activity and a presentation of the Act Green project and its objectives.

Participants then engaged in a thematic session on green transition and migration, reflecting on current challenges and opportunities. Through interactive working groups, students explored ideas and developed proposals for more inclusive and sustainable communities, later presenting their conclusions to the group.

The workshop concluded with closing remarks from a representative of the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso, reinforcing the importance of youth engagement and local cooperation in building greener and more inclusive societies.
