LTTA - Motivate Youth
Between 19 and 25 April 2026, FAJUB – Federação das Associações Juvenis do Distrito de Braga hosted the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) of the Erasmus+ project Motivate Youth in Braga, bringing together 24 participants from Portugal, Spain, Romania, Ukraine, Turkey and Belgium.
The international training aimed to strengthen the capacities of mentors working with young people by equipping them with practical tools to boost motivation in key areas such as education, volunteering, employability and sports. Through non-formal education methods, participants engaged in interactive sessions, peer learning, and collaborative activities, fostering intercultural exchange and personal development.
A key highlight of the LTTA was the testing of the mobile application developed within the project, designed to support mentors and young people in setting goals, tracking progress, and developing skills in an engaging and accessible way.
The programme also included practical, community-based experiences, such as an intergenerational workshop at the Associação de Moradores do Bairro Social de Enguardas, a study visit to SC Braga exploring the role of sports in youth motivation, and participation in the “Orienta-te” job fair in Guimarães, linking skills development with real labour market opportunities.
The LTTA in Braga marked an important milestone in the Motivate Youth project, contributing to the development of innovative and effective approaches to youth motivation across Europe.
