Overview

About the project

Generation Z & Alpha in the Driver’s Seat for Youth Participation and European Democracy is a transnational initiative aimed at modernising democratic participation by adapting governance structures to the evolving engagement habits of younger generations. The project seeks to strengthen the connection between young citizens and political institutions by promoting innovative, youth-friendly participation models and equipping municipalities with practical strategies for inclusive governance. Through cross-border cooperation, knowledge exchange, and policy innovation, the project supports the development of sustainable mechanisms that enhance youth involvement in democratic life across Europe.
